Jamaica Premix

Jamaica Pre-Mix Limited (JPM), a fully owned subsidiary of Ledgehill International, Inc., a Florida company was started in 1959 to supply the Jamaican construction industry with the highest quality ready mixed concrete and aggregates. Within a few years the company became one of the leading suppliers in Jamaica and acquired membership in the National Ready Mixed Concrete Association and the Incorporated Master Builders Association. In September 2001, JPM acquired the assets of Redimix Concrete Limited (RCL), making it the dominant supplier in the Jamaican construction industry. With the acquisition of RCL, JPM is the largest purchaser of bulk cement from the island's only producer, Caribbean Cement Company.

JPM's products and services are utilized in construction projects diverse in size and nature, including residential, commercial and industrial buildings, hotels, bauxite and alumina plants.

The five fixed concrete plants are strategically located across the island, from Kingston in the east to Negril in the west, for customer convenience. In addition, there are portable concrete batching plants capable of handling onsite jobs regardless of location. The fixed batching plants are equipped with computerized, state of the art batch management systems.

The aggregate plants are located at Yallahs, St. Thomas; Harbour View, Kingston; and Agualta Vale, St. Mary. These plants are designed for the production of washed sand and stone to ASTM specifications, from natural riverbed sources. They have an overall production capability in excess of 800 metric tonnes per hour. JPM's aggregates meet American (ASTM), British (BSS) and Jamaican standards. The crushing plants are equipped with belt scales, which can provide daily production information. We are also an internationally tested and certified source of non-skid aggregates. For international customers, loading facilities are available for ocean bound ships and barges.
